Drawing 1D/2B/75 by Keith Milow
| A pattern of two units, both rectangular and containing tonal grading running vertically in one and horizontally in the other, are arranged in such a way as to suggest a mathematical formula. In five horizontal lines, the same units are repeated in variations of position and colour, with the two units either conjoined or separated, or one subtracted from the other. The colour changes are created by the overlay of green onto brown. The units, and the lines of the 'equation', are linked by the 'equals' symbol. The centre three lines of the equation are overlaid with a transparent band that repeats the two units, the vertical and horizontal content created by scoring with a comb to create a corrugated surface. Pencil and blue chalk lines mark out the divisions of the paper.
